Week 61 was down again after week 60’s still busy action. INN tracked 14 hostile actions, a more normal week in line with previous months. Delve was largely home to the action, but nearly all of the action was structure bashes across the Imperium home regions, as they continued to scour their space of hostile citadels.
[Editor’s Note: As the war has reached its anniversary, INN’s tracker is now split between the July 2020 to June 2021 events and July 2021 onwards. The first year’s data remains broken, but the author is tentatively hopeful the Year 2 data will calculate moving forward.]
There were two fights in week 61 that exceeded 20 billion ISK in total losses. The first included a Goon bomber group showing up to a small dreadnought brawl in Cloud Ring. The second had Imperium Kikimoras shredding through a TEST home defense fleet, taking some Rorquals down in the process.
The three major theaters are the North (Fountain and the border with Aridia and Cloud Ring as well as western Delve), the South (the rest of Delve, Querious, and Period Basis), and the East (Paragon Soul, Catch, Stain, Immensea, and Esoteria).
THE NORTHERN THEATER
Action in the North largely shifted to kills in Aridia. Horde lost a weirdly fit Ragnarok titan and Fraternity lost a Wyvern. TEST later lost a Keepstar in Irmalin which was facilitating evacuation of asset safety assets from Delve.
THE EASTERN THEATER
In the East, former Legacy alliance members Eternal Requiem lost a Keepstar in Impass, while TEST lost a Keepstar in Catch, one of the original erected at the beginning of the war as a staging citadel for assaulting Querious.
THE SOUTHERN THEATER
Over the course of the week, TEST lost a Fortizar and Keepstar; Brave lost a Sotiyo, a Fortizar, and a Tatara; Horde lost a Sotiyo.
ELSEWHERE IN NEW EDEN
Fights around New Eden were headlined by conflict in Cloud Ring, where Triumvirate battled with Deepwater Hooligans and others over the border system from Syndicate. Triumvirate took a beating, losing 110.6 billion ISK to the 54.3 billion of the attackers. Later in the week, the Imperium and friends showed up in Outer Passage to hassle TEST as they attempted to settle in to their new locale. The Imperium killed 40 billion ISK for 8.6 billion in losses, including a FAX and three Rorquals. At the end of the week, one of the former Legacy members also lost a Hel.
As the war has largely come to an end in the Southwest of the Galaxy and there are nearly no former PAPI citadels, iHubs, or TCUs remaining in the original war zone, INN has elected to wind down our coverage of Beeitnam. This week represents one of the final updates of the war and it has been a real pleasure to act as INN’s correspondent. Next week’s article will include a retrospective of some of the highlights of the war from the INN archives.
