The first matches in the Anger Games II were completed last weekend, and the match quality was truly a sight to behold.
Many of the rounds went the full distance and frequently battles were not decided until well into a match. Now as tempting as it would be to describe the cut and thrust of each match with a blow by blow account I will resist. There would simply be too many words. There were a few minor technical difficulties as it seems that SkepticNerdGuy must have angered the small gods. Despite all his careful preparation and testing, it seems that at least one piece of his hardware developed stage fright on the night. This resulted in a gaggle of BSODs and syncing issues. Thankfully the merciful Twitch stream audience resisted the urge to become overly hostile to Skeptic. All in all, Skeptic held up exceptionally well given the pressure that they were undoubtedly under, so kudos to them.

You guessed it, there are still plenty of matches to be seen this coming weekend. Matches are scheduled to start at 20:00 Eve time on both this Saturday (2017-04-29) and Sunday (2017-04-30). There will be further banter in the studio as well as the commentator booth as they follow the progress of the competing teams. You can also follow the results as they happen on the Eve_NT site.
There is little doubt that there is a lot more action to come. As we get closer to the finals there is a chance that some grudges will develop. Up until now, everyone has been extremely well mannered and good sports.
