PAPI’s Retreat Daily Report: Day 9

INN is reporting daily on the Imperium’s reconquest of Delve, Querious, Fountain, and Period Basis. Not included in the reporting at this time is Lowsec and Highsec ganking.

The Imperium continues to reinforce structures across Delve, Querious, Fountain, and Period Basis to stop unanchoring timers. In addition, many structures are being destroyed on a daily basis.

No update on pending timers is available today.

Day 9: Tuesday, August 10

PAPI suffered almost a trillion losses in structures and ships on Tuesday. In addition, there was an uptick in losses outside of the Imperium territories of Delve, Querious, Fountain, and Period Basis as PAPI ran into trouble on their road of retreat. Dreadbomb. and friends were a particular thorn in PAPI’s side in Catch on Day 9. Also, TEST lost multiple TCUs in their former home of Esoteria.

Capturing of IHUBs by the Imperium continued. With Delve IHUBs fully taken, the focus shifted particularly to Querious.

    Very stupid question from a high-sec noob. Is there a way to prevent people asset safetying stuff out of a low sec structures? Like keep it in timers but don’;t destroy it, just keep putting it back into a timer? How about if the fuel runs out and they can’t get any more fuel in to it? Is there some convoluted way to interfere with asset safety?

      the question is, can you have enough people willing enough to go camping the system 24/7, preventing every single ship getting near the structure until God knows when the structure ran out of fuel? For every structure? Better to just blew it up. It’s faster, more sure(that the enemy will lose the structure, and the enemy with assets safety still need to pay some fee)

      Scale up the amount of asset safety and it starts to look grim

        I was thinking more of instnces like T5Z where there is a single keepstar with almost all their war material. One jump from 1Dq.

          On one side yeah that might be worth to try, but no matter how, it’ll tie down numerous amount of imperium fighting force where they could be used somewhere more strategically. This is a game, not real world. You also need to factor in the fun your player have rather than total strategic point of view too.

          Also if not quickly destroyed it might become a symbol, a mascot that will be used by the remnants(or what is left) of ex-PAPI force to rally on, until it’s destroyed, it’ll remain a thorn inside imperium land, so on long term view, it would still be better to destroy it when there’s no one willing to show a defense for it, when everything is still on fire.

    64 PAPI structures killed in a single day. Aren’t these the same people who told us they won the war because they killed a bunch of structures?

    Today is gonna be even worse for papi, due Catch pipe route heavily camped for Test folks and Delve cleaning ops is on wheels.
