The roundtable hosted by CCP devs yesterday, which lasted nearly two hours, has sparked a massive storm of drama on Reddit and the Eve-O Forums. Many players are unhappy with the way certain questions as well as the overall event were handled by CCP and the CSM, as well as being angry with certain statements.
One statement by CCP Fozzie caused a lot of the drama, sparking a number of images based on the issue. CCP Fozzie said that potential content has to be a factor when choosing where your alliance lives, but many players took it in a different direction, saying Fozzie has given them two options: Sov or fun.
Some players have stepped up in CCP’s defense, or at least to call a stop to the witch hunts, such as in this thread. However, the vocal part of the player population is both upset and disappointed in CCP’s handling of the round table, citing their dodging of questions and attitude towards certain people. Threats of cancelling subscriptions over the issue have been made frequently as the storm continues on Reddit and Eve-O.
