Cr0nix of Emitethunter Entepresises, having recently renewed his pilot license, was in the process of moving over 20 billion ISK of his assets in his Rhea-class jump freighter from the Jita IV, Moon 4, Caldari Navy Assembly Plant in the direction of Domain and towards an unknown final destination. Idle agents of the Imperium’s Ministry of Love (MiniLuv) quickly picked up Cr0nix’s trail and pursued, calling in the execution order. MiniLuv was not alone in catching his scent, as members of Hard Knocks were also in tow.
Upon arriving in Niarja, Cr0nix was quickly pinned down, and the execution force arrived to obliterate the jump freighter. While roughly 20 billion ISK worth of assets in the form of modules, drones, and pos modules were destroyed in the wreckage of the Rhea, only an approximate value of 2 billion ISK worth of assets was claimable for the victors. I deserved that. I was piloting it just got nabbed shit happens. Most of that shit was left over from the northern wars, so, all good. I should done one container at a time would have been a lot less lucrative for them, plus I should just sold all my shit in Jita and kept the cash. Oh well, spilt milk now.
I just resubbed after 2 year break, so, I gotta learn the ropes the hard way again it seems. They got the bulk of my assests so I am broke as a joke. Do you guys need a poor soul to shine your shoes?
Reckless, spur of the moment behaviour can be destructive within the harsh confines of New Eden. With this behavior, opportunistic individuals, if in the right place at the right time, can quickly capitalize on these mistakes for profit, notoriety, and frequently both. Had Cr0nix been prepared, this story may have gone differently. Still, his reaction to the loss is to be commended. For the victors, while the busted jump freighter did not give a particularly favourable amount of loot, the destruction of an ill-prepared Jump Freighter never gets old.
